Mio c220 utility Windows Vista problem

When Mio c220 utility tries to connect to Mio c220, Mio c220 does NOT respond in Windows Vista. For instance, 'Transfer_Mio_C250', the c220 hacking utility does NOT display any information about their data. Since these utility was not designed for the latest Windows or Windows Vista, they could have problem. In this case, it is necessary to downgrade the device driver.

Step 1. Download the old device driver

Step 2. Open Device Manager

Step 3. Open 'Properties' of Mobile devices -> Mio DigiWalker USB Sync

Step 4. Open 'Update Driver...'

Step 5. Open 'Browse my computer for driver software'

Step 6. Open 'Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer'
- Just browsing the driver is not work, since Windows is looking for the latest one.

Step 7. Open 'Have Disk...'

Step 8. Select 'WCEUSBSH.INF'

Step 9. Select 'Mio DigiWalker USB Sync'
- It's old version driver, but 'Transfer_Mio_C250' is working with this.

Step 10. Try 'Transfer_Mio_C250'
